FileInsta is a privacy-first, client-side file compressor that shrinks images, videos and documents without uploads. We use WebAssembly codecs, perceptual tuning, and local processing to deliver tinypng-like compression — but without third-party servers or data leaks.
Our mission
We launched FileInsta to solve a common trade-off: designers want perfect-looking, lightweight assets — but sending files to unseen servers risks privacy and slows iteration. FileInsta moves the entire pipeline into your browser so teams and creators can optimize assets fast while keeping control of their work.
We combine modern browser tooling (WebAssembly codecs, WebWorkers, IndexedDB caching) with real-world presets for hero images, thumbnails, email heroes, and social thumbnails. The result: faster pages, smaller bills, and no external uploads.

Do you keep my files?
No. Compression happens in your browser. You can choose to keep or remove metadata and EXIF before exporting.
